Terms & Conditions

These terms cover excursion bookings made with Jazeera Excursions through this website or over WhatsApp.

Booking and confirmation

Everything sent through this website is a booking request, not a confirmed booking. A booking exists only once Jazeera Excursions confirms availability and the booking details with you directly.

Totals shown on this website are estimates based on published rates and the guest numbers you entered. The final amount is confirmed in your booking reply.

Prices and minimum bookings

  • All prices are in US dollars (USD).
  • Each excursion has its own minimum guest count. Below that count, the stated minimum charge applies to the whole booking.
  • Once the guest count reaches the minimum, normal per-person rates apply and the minimum charge is not added on top.
  • Transport charges on the Greater Malé Discovery Tour are additional and are shown separately.
  • No taxes or service charges are added on this website. If any become applicable, they will be stated before you book.

Payment

Payment method and payment deadline are confirmed directly with Jazeera Excursions when your booking is accepted. No payment is taken on this website.

Changes to itineraries

Weather, sea conditions, ferry schedules, traffic, local access rules and operational requirements can all change an itinerary or its timing. Jazeera Excursions may alter a route for safety or operational reasons, and will aim to preserve the core experience when doing so.

What cannot be guaranteed

Dolphins, sharks, turtles, rays, fish and all other marine animals are wild. Sightings depend on natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed. The same applies to fish catches, sunset visibility, sea conditions, beach-chair availability and access to religious, government or otherwise restricted locations.

Safety and conduct

  • Guests must follow safety instructions from the guide and crew at all times.
  • Guests must not touch, chase or disturb marine life.
  • Where an excursion lists health requirements, guests are responsible for disclosing relevant health or participation concerns before the trip.
  • Guests must respect local community rules, religious-site rules and the dress and behaviour expected on inhabited islands.

Third parties

Some excursions visit venues, resorts or use transport operated by third parties, which have their own rules, schedules and availability. Jazeera Excursions is an independent operator and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any resort or third-party provider named on this website.
